10 Classic Video Games That Deserve A Next Generation Definitive Edition

9. Red Dead Redemption

Although we're certainly hoping that Rockstar are working hard behind barricaded saloon doors and tinkering away at the next in the series, the original Red Dead Redemption was a massive highlight of the last generation. The definitive Western experience (still a genre surprisingly mostly untapped by gaming), RDR took Rockstar's trademark open-world gameplay, threw in some horses and some politically driven Western drama and proved this game was far more than just 'Grand Theft Auto with horses'. Can you believe it's been four years already since this one came out? It seems like only yesterday we were riding across the dusty plains, hogtying innocents and placing them on the train tracks before patiently waiting for them to be squashed by the next passing locomotive. Doing so again would be more than welcome, especially with the graphical capabilities a next-gen port would bring. Throw in the Undead Nightmare DLC as part of the package and here you've got something great given new life once more.
