10 Classic Video Games Only Extended By Stupid Enemy Decisions
8. Not Sending A Fleet Of Troops At Mario - Any Mario Game
This one's simple and akin to the same sort of complaints made about every single martial arts movie ever - "why don't they all attack him at once?" The Mario games see the Italian plumber protagonist darting through dozens of crazy platforming levels to reach Bowser, who litters each map with a finite number of his foes who can, for the most part, be easily taken to task a few at a time. The question is, then, why Bowser doesn't just hurl 50 of them at him at once, as that would surely be too much for even the great Mario to take on? I'm surprised this one hasn't been subverted more in the Mario franchise. Wouldn't it be cool to play through a Shenmue-esque QTE sequence in which you have to take down a horde of enemies totaling more than Mario has ever faced at once before?
