4. Wesker Doesn't Know When To Cut & Run - Resident Evil

The main twist in the first Resident Evil game is that Albert Wesker is the douchebag double agent working for Umbrella, and he has been recording battle data during Chris, Jill and everyone else's fights with the various monsters littered throughout the mansion. The problem is that he just doesn't know when to quit, because when it became clear that his colleagues were cottoning onto his plans, he should have just shot them on sight. Instead, they fought their way to the foot of the conspiracy, and managed to escape, blowing the mansion sky-high. This is also not to forget that Wesker ends up being impaled by the very Tyrant he unleashes, essentially becoming the test subject he was meant to be setting his co-workers up as. You'd think the guy might have thought about what he was doing a little bit more, but such is madness and greed (as we later find out that Wesker was going to sell the Tyrant to Umbrella's rival).
