10 Comic Book Characters That Deserve Their Own Major Video Game

Despite Natasha Romanoff’s sketchy past, she has proven herself as one of the greatest secret agents in all of comic book history and is a frequent member of Marvel's Avengers.

At a young age, Romanoff was indoctrinated by a secret Russian training program that converted young girls into lethal undercover agents known as the Red Room. After completing the program, Romanoff took on a number of high profile missions for the KGB. This eventually made her a target for agent Clint Barton, but after recognising her skills, disobeyed orders to kill her and recommended Romanoff for recruitment into S.H.I.E.L.D.

A Black Widow game within the stealth genre would be the most feasible kind of game to make about the character and a proven fanbase for stealth games means that it would be easy to market. A combination of Splinter Cell and Hitman like elements would play perfectly into the Black Widow’s strengths, with an emphasis on hacking, infiltration, gadgets and acrobatic takedowns.

Wrapping all this together in a story about the Black Widow’s first few missions as a new S.H.I.E.L.D operative, or confronting her past, would make for an entertaining game.
