10 Confessions Of A PS4 Owner After Upgrading To The Pro

10. No 4K Blu Ray Support Is Unforgivable

Even though it would have kicked the price up massively, it's still disappointing that the PS4 Pro lacks Ultra HD Blu Ray support whereas Microsoft's seemingly inferior Xbox One S comes pre-packaged with the feature.

Especially going into the future with Xbox One X launching in the fall, the lack of foresight in this regard seems to be a foolish misstep for Sony. This is the company that has always been at the forefront of the multimedia revolution, packaging the PS2 with a DVD drive, and stealthily winning the HD war by including a blu-ray player with every PlayStation 3.

4K content isn't exactly ubiquitous at the moment, but lacking this support and letting Microsoft take the lead is a baffling mistake on Sony's part, and a huge disappointment for adopters of their latest console.
