10 Console Games That Will Probably Be Banned In China
3. South Park: The Stick of Truth (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
If Despicable Me 2 wasn't approved, you can bet that Trey Parker and Matt Stone's 1999 feature-length perverse-musical of their groundbreaking television show wasn't either. This first good official South Park video game; The Stick of Truth, has been highly anticipated since its memorable reveal at the Microsoft Press Conference. Developed by Obsidian and saved by Ubisoft, the game seems to faithfully deliver the absurdity and caustic wit of the show, probably due to the fact that Trey and Matt are the lead writers. South Park has teeth: political, moral, economic, religious, you name it. South Park has made its name on controversy, and that just isn't tolerated by the Party. (Probable) Official Statement: Banned for "extreme vulgarity" and "gameplay bugs" (It's an Obsidian game...it's guaranteed to have bugs).
