As the launch of the next generation now current generation- consoles approached it became common knowledge to the public that most games were suffering performance issues on the Xbox One. Specifically, games werent running at a 1080P resolution but rather 720p. This alone didnt cause a justified outcry, but Microsofts competition in the PlayStation 4 was running these same games in 1080p really stirred the pot. This revelation sparked some heated internet debating too, with most gamers saying who the hell would buy a console that is already receiving inferior versions of game. And to be fair, its true. I will once again admit though that for all the technical shortcomings, in terms of pure graphical power no available next generation title looks better than Ryse: Son of Rome. So for all we know its just another case of having to wait more than one month before raising the hand of Sony or Microsoft definitively in any area yet.
