10 Creepiest Legend Of Zelda Enemies
9. Bubble (First Appearance In The Legend Of Zelda – 1986)
Let’s start things off with a mean old softy. The Bubble is one of the quintessential Legend of Zelda enemies, presenting a simple yet unexpected challenge for first time players or even experienced veterans of the franchise.
Described in the official instruction booklet as: “The spirit of the dead. When it clings onto Link, he won’t be able to unsheathe his sword for a while”. No sword for a while? Looks like our hero has run into a little bit of bubbling trouble.
As simplistic and disappointing as this foe may seem (at least at first glance, that is), you wouldn’t want to face this fleeting fiend if your heart count is on the low. Bubbles appear as intimidating skulls that are surrounded by a ring of fire, so your health will not be spared if you dare to get too close without proper training.
Throughout this lengthy franchise, the Bubble keeps popping up to become a nuisance for novice heroes, but it never evolved enough to be considered a real threat.
Still, be careful. You wouldn’t want to ruin your perfect run due to an unforeseen attack by one of these soft unpredictable enemies. Walk and pop, my friend, walk and pop.
