10 Creepiest Legend Of Zelda Enemies

8. Stalfos Knight (First Appearance In A Link To The Past – 1992)

What this enemy lacks in combat prowess, it makes up plenty in undying stubbornness. Stalfos Knights are kind of underwhelming warriors with a basic set of attacks that don’t do much to stand in the way of the hero’s righteous quest. That is until they rise from the underworld once again to keep fighting; they rise and keep on rising, no matter how many times you slay them.

In the official instruction booklet for A Link to the Past, the Stalfos Knight’s description reads: “This skeletal warrior is stationed in the Ice Palace. Even if you hit him with your sword, he always seems to come back to life. You will need some other weapon to deal this warrior the final blow”.

When you stop to think about it, the idea of a reanimated skeleton holding a sword and a shield sounds both amusing and bone-chilling (oh, man, I crack myself up).

However, when you add the never ending torture of having to defeat your enemy over and over again, the unimpressive Stalfos Knight shines in a whole new creepy light. Be mindful of your foe’s movements and you’ll make it without taking any serious damage.

Don’t you forget those bombs.
