Hello Neighbor is a survival, stealth horror in which players are tasked with sneaking into their neighbor’s basement to uncover his sordid secret.

Unlike some of the other games on this list, this is one which at first glance, doesn’t really have much of a soundtrack to speak of as players spend the majority of the game in almost complete silence, with the music (when there is any) being quite subdued and atmospheric. However, in contrast to this, the music that is triggered during chase sequences is almost laughably over the top when compared to the cheesey, “cartoon villain” music underscoring the rest of the game.
