Trevor is probably one of the most truly vile, unrepentant, irredeemable psychopaths in fiction. From a young age, Trevor was already killing animals and, occasionally, people - including his own brother.

When the two eventually do have a falling out, it's due to the revelation that Michael betrayed Brad during the heist, selling them out in exchange for witness protection, causing Trevor to want to avenge Brad, who, in his eyes, was as loyal as him. However, they make up in the end, simply because of Michael sincerely apologizing for his actions.
