6. Grassy Areas Frequently Feel Broken

They're not even part of the already-limiting tutorial, but the small fluttering grass icon is supposed to indicate a patch of land where more 'wild' Pokémon may spawn (in theory anyway).

However... it kinda doesn't. You can make the effort to stroll into said area and more often than not, nothing will happen. It almost feels like the animation actively stops once you've walked into the zone, and rather than respond to your presence by factoring in a wider set of Pokémon, it resets.

I could be missing something (which is very likely, considering how vague the app is overall) so please let me know in the comments if there's a trick to this part of the game.
