This is something which we've always wanted. An unlimited, or thereabouts, amount of currency for the start of our new lives. Of course on the PC that's possible with console commands but for the console peasants, or mixed game lineage like myself, we must make do with exploits to cheat our way to victory. Oblivion was the first Elder Scrolls game I had actually played. Please don't hate me for not playing Morrowind first, I swear I played it after I was introduced to the series. With it came a whole new meaning to the word "glitchy" that I had never experienced before. As I've already said Bethesda games are just glitchy, there is nothing we can do about that. Pigs go "oink", cows go "moo" and Bethesda games crash and are glitchy as all hell. This is a fact of life. This one I actually found for myself before I found out that everyone already knew about it online and was probably one of the only times I've found a glitch which is profitable. While playing a career thief for the thieves guild I broke into a guys house in the Talos Plaza district of the Imperial City. While sneaking into the guys house I found him asleep and thought his pockets look a little weighty. After taking an initial 400 gold from his pockets I discovered that 100 of the coins remained. After trying to pickpocket them multiple times I realized the money wasn't going down but I was still gaining the money each time I tried to steal it. This one I used almost every time I started a new game on Oblivion as I found gold to be hard to come by on that game, purely because I buy all the enchanted stuff and love having the ability to pay my troubles away. A truly dastardly thing to do I know but I prayed at the way-shrines of the nine divines so i'm pretty sure i'm forgiven.
