We're returning the Elder Scrolls territory again for this glitch as we enter the mythical land of Skyrim. Like all other Bethesda games Skyrim suffered from a serious case of glitch and exploit infestation, with one being one of the most dastardly in my view. While going through the main quest line, in an attempt to trace and Deus Ex Machina Scroll to help stop the dragon menace, you encounter Septimus Signus. Septimus is a crazy Imperial who provides you with the location of an Elder Scroll in exchange for using two devices he gives you while you're at the location. If you choose to return to him you can begin a quest, inadvertently, for the Daedric God Hermaeus Mora. Septimus believes there is something of great value inside a Dwenmer cube he found frozen in the ice. After finding the necessary pieces to activate the cube and reveal its secrets you are blessed by the Daedra with the Oghma Infinium, a source of infinite knowledge. Choosing to read the book causes it to disappear from the players inventory and increases a set of the players skills, but there is another way. By reading the book and storing it in a book case before it disappears you van reaquire it from the book case and read it again. This can be repeated as many times as the player wants in order to gain an infinite amount of EXP. Although this glitch has been fixed it is still one of the cheapest ways to level up in Skyrim, second only to console commands on the PC.
