10 Dead Video Game Franchises That Need To Return

Dino Crisis was essentially Resident Evil with dinosaurs. It was even created by the director of the original Resident Evil game, Shinji Mikami. The game released in 1999 on the PlayStation to mostly positive reviews and ultimately sold many copies.

The bizarre mashup of jurassic park and resident evil captivated gamers everywhere and led to the development of a sequel. Dino Crisis 2 offered more of the same, cementing the survival horror series as a mainstay in the PlayStation library.

For some reason, the third instalment, Dino Crisis 3 took place in the futureā€¦ in space. This game was released exclusively for the original Xbox and was met with mixed reviews and poor sales, leading to the death of the franchise.

Capcom has been hard at work remaking some of their classic Resident Evil games in their new RE engine for current generation systems. With enhanced graphics, a vastly improved camera system and additional content, the remakes for Resident Evil 2 and 3 were critically acclaimed and commercially successful.

While it is heavily rumored that Resident Evil 4 will be Capcom's next remake project, we hope they will eventually turn their attention to Dino Crisis for a next generation remake.
