10 DEADLIEST Dark Souls Sorceries
8. White Dragon Breath
Most of the sorceries of the first Dark Souls, especially ones involving crystal, originate from the mad paledrake, Seath the Scaleless. This one can only be acquired after Seath is dead, and the obsessive sorcerer Big Hat Logan has been driven to insanity by the knowledge found in the Duke's Archives.
The spell emulates Seath's own dragon breath, which, due to his deformity and grotesque experiments, is not fire, but sharp crystals that sprout up out of the ground. Contact with these crystals can curse the player, killing them and reducing their health to half capacity upon respawning.
Casting White Dragon Breath works very similarly to the attack that claims your life the first time you run into Seath. A mess of crystalline spikes bursts out of the ground in a line in front of you, which cause a fair amount of damage and can ensure you an even quicker victory via cursing if you're lucky.
That said, it's a pretty slow cast, and if your opponent senses what you're doing, it's all too easy for them to avoid it.
