10 Delayed Video Games You Can Finally Play In 2016

1. Tom Clancy's The Division

Ubisoft haven't got the best standing in the gaming industry right now, but they have been hard at work to fix the reputation that beset them at the start of 2015. As such, the latest Assassin's Creed wasn't a total trainwreck, they released small-budget gem Gone Home to critical acclaim and they're set to show off Far Cry: Primal as a sequel that's not 'just another' overly similar entry in the series. The Division though - that's where things get interesting. On the one hand you've got them pioneering this idea of an online 'MMO shooter' hybrid that lets you join up with your mates regardless of whether they're at home or mobile (the latter can pilot drones in real time), but the other side of things sees a potentially ugly microtransaction/Destiny-style gameplay loop rearing its head. Ubi have noted in response to the press labelling these transactions as "pay to win", by saying they'll only offer "time and comfort" enhancements such as additional inventory slots, although considering how Destiny started out versus where we are now with a 'Pay $30 to get an instant high-level" option, it could be the exact same thing. We're yet to see any considerable chunks of what this has morphed into since 2013 (yes, that long!), but we're definitely overdue a third-person shooter revival anyway, so if this can scratch that itch along with Quantum Break, it could be welcomed with open arms. Which delayed game are you most looking forward to? Let us know in the comments!
