4. Watch Dogs - Uncle & Nephew Scene
When Watch Dogs was initially announced, many gamers were exploding with excitement at the prospect of this GTA clone using the ability of hacking as your main method to cause harm and disruption.
However, the full release saw a significant downgrade from the promotional material that Ubisoft put out, with weaker graphics, hacking skills which were under utilised and a lack lustre story.
Some scenes were also cut as one was discovered by a user on Reddit, who provided access to the deleted scene which never made the full product. The scene in question adds more layers to the main character, Aiden, as he interacts with his nephew, Jackson.
The two sit outside Jackson's house on the steps as Aiden tries to steer Jackson away from the ever powerful, DedSec, the notorious hacking group fighting the implementation of technology in the public.
It's an interesting scene that provides some insight into how the series could have developed with these characters. It seems to want to build a relationship with Jackson and how he could be a future protagonist in instalments. Whether that will come to fruition is yet to be seen, but it still makes the characters of Watch Dogs seem that slightly bit deeper. Slightly...
