10 Disappointing Games That Tricked Us With Brilliant Trailers

5. Assassin's Creed 3

The Assassin's Creed 3 E3 trailer sparked huge anticipation for what looked to be the best Assassin's Creed game yet. It was the trailer that had everyone chanting USA and got everyone pumped to jump back into the shoes of an assassin after the lacklustre entry that was Assassin's Creed Revelations. While Assassin's Creed 3 had some great revolutionary developments, in the end it still felt very incomplete. The combat was vastly improved but not as smooth as it should have been, the world was glitch ridden, and those blinding white load screens burned your eyes just a little too long. Also, despite your hero being just as badass as he is portrayed in the trailer, you couldn't help wanting to spend much more time with the games villains. Speaking of the trailer, when the Battle of Bunker Hill approached, it seemed this was your prime time to reenact the kick-ass trailer that made you purchase the game in the first place. Unfortunately, it didn't quite go as smoothly as the blissful CG trailer, leading to one of the most disappointing and infuriating missions in the game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pUhraVG7Ow
