10 Disappointing Games That Tricked Us With Brilliant Trailers

4. Every Call Of Duty Game

Whether it's endless action exploding in rhythm to a catchy Eminem song or celebrities pretending to know what COD stands for as they run around and spew jokes for a paycheck in a live-action trailer, gamers have come to expect a lot from yearly COD trailers. And no matter how little you know the game will match up to the quality of the trailers, without fail, every year you will get excited on the back of them. But then, players don't buy these games for the story: only about half of the people that buy these games probably know there is one at all. The series is all about the multiplayer, so you think the developers would make revolutionary changes between each entry, yet everything is still largely the same to the extent that you could buy Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and have mostly the same experience as you would buying Ghosts. If only the developers put as much time and effort into coming up with new and exciting things to put into the games as the advertising team does coming up with new trailers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNxh7umVOZ0
