Undeniably the most popular of all superhero series to grace the virtual world of gaming, the multi-award winning Batman: Arkham Series spawned a whole new generation of Bat-fans. With its beautifully gritty and detailed open world design, coupled with its polished combat and stealth play, the series has commanded attention from gaming fans of all walks of life. Disgusting moment: Beating up enemies so badly that they couldn€™t possibly survive their injuries. From pulling enemies from great heights to smashing their faces into concrete walls with tremendous force, the Batman€™s moral code of €œnot killing people€ pretty much crumbles to pieces under his brutality towards beating up baddies. Why no one felt bad: The series relies on our suspension of disbelief and our willingness to accept that Batman isn€™t actually killing anybody. Sure, cutting down a strung up man from a great height so he lands on his head would kill him in real life €“ in Arkham, however, he just gets a big boo-boo €“ and we accept this, because it's Batman.
