4. Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee: PlayStation (1997) Squished By Rocks
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee released in the late 90s, was a puzzle platformer with an interesting and disgusting storyline. The aim of the game was to escape RuptureFarms and save as many Mudokons the slaves as you, Abe, could. I distinctly remember this game from my childhood as I always hated the art style. Not because it was poorly designed, mind, but because it used to scare me into a wet puddle. And, like the art style, this death would always frighten me. Not because it was the most shocking in the game, but because I absolutely loathed the sound it made. Skip to 3:22 for death. Adding to the horrific noise, I'd get rather irate because I was the one who pulled the switch, it was totally my fault. However, the main reason it's a disgusting way to die is because of how your body looks after the rocks falls on top of you. You're mangled in this horrendous foetal position, your head is concaved, and you have to watch your body slowly shrivel, blow up and turn into a camp bats. Bloody repulsive.
