3. Devil May Cry: PlayStation (2001) Hacked To Pieces By Bug-Looking Monster
Like most university students I've come across, I've always hated the Devil May Cry franchise. And, with the remake having the same amount of impact on me as a rotten apple does the pavement, I think that'll never changed. However, back in 2001, I distinctly remember dry-heaving at one particular animated death scene in the first Devil May Cry. Everything about this death scene is disgusting. How the monster jerkily moves towards you and rips your head back. How the background switches to jet black so you and your nightmare are all alone. And, how the monster then slabs the holy hell out of you until your body can be used as a fetching plant pot upon his windowsill. How lovely Devil May Cry. I may cry... and vomit. Poor, poor omnisexual Dante.
