The Torture Game consists of a collection of flash games in which the player, using an arsenal of items and weapons, simply chooses how to torture a 2D rag-doll (representative a naked man). Though The Torture Game 2 is not the only flash game based upon this concept - others like "Chiller" featuring similar ideas - it makes this list due to the public attention it gained after Fox News condemned it for its content. Whilst it is not technically a scripted scene, the game has been included as the player gets to "create the scene," wielding the ability to skin, shoot, impale and mutilate the body in whatever way they choose. Fox News brought a lot of attention to it, expressing their distaste towards how accessible the free online game would be for children. Naturally, many were indeed disturbed by the game's content and its depiction of torture, though some argue that it is just a simple "stress-relief" game. Whatever your opinion, the game allows players to create some particularly gruesome scenes of their own.
