There isn't enough space to get into the how's and why's of Quiet's illogical costume choice(s) in Metal Gear Solid V.

Kojima's pseudo-science "justification" did little to calm the outcry as to why she's scantily clad in the slightest: if anything, it made it weirder that that much thought had gone into it.

But on the flip side of the dirty coin, there are some options that limit the strangeness of it all, making a bit of fun to play around with. You can unlock her pre-burn sneaking suit (from the prologue), or you can get a little bit more creative.

You can settle for an all over finish of silver for Quiet if you complete the higher difficulty missions in the later part of the game.

But who wants to settle for silver, right?

Instead, get all S ranks on the above missions to unlock the solid gold "skin" for the silent sniper. Covering every facet of Quiet, top to toe (including clothing) in a dazzling gold, it really goes against the whole "covert ops" thing.

But who cares, she's solid gold!
