10 Dumbest Video Game Costumes We Absolutely LOVE
6. Ezio - Raiden's Ninja Suit (Assassin's Creed/Metal Gear Solid)
Anachronisms in the Assassin's Creed series aren't entirely uncommon, but they're not grossly unbelievable either. Sure, creative license with things like pistols and Da Vinci's war machines may not be the most accurate, but at least you can see the "more or less" reasons why they would be.
Of course, there's no explaining a cyborg suit from five hundred years in the future. That one's a bit of a stretch.
Yet it's possible to unlock Raiden's "Does this make me cool yet?" cyborg suit from Metal Gear Solid 4 as an equippable outfit for Ezio, by way of virtual missions. This is a nod to Raiden excelling at VR missions as part of his training, you see.
Unfortunately, it doesn't carry any of the benefits that Raiden gets. No super strength, no lightning speed, no heel blades. Heck, even the high frequency blade strapped to the back is for decorative purposes only.
It's not just that looks badass, though. It's that it looks badass and so out of place that makes it worthy of this list.
Metal Gear fans just got some robes in Peace Walker. Boo.
