9. Draw Something

There was a time where everyone seemed to be playing this game, laughing at their friends terrible drawings while claiming everything that they had done was nothing short of a masterpiece. In reality the controls weren't all that great so you were often left with a poor piece of art. But that's partly what made the game so fun to play.

Draw Something was first released in 2012 on mobile devices but really blew up in popularity when it was purchased by Zynga just five weeks after it's release, meaning the game was available on Facebook.

At the height of its popularity, DrawSomething was receiving around 15 million unique players daily, much more than most triple A games can boast.

But like most viral games after a few months its popularity started to fade. A sequel was released in 2013 but unofrtuntately it didn't get no where near as much attention as its predecessor. These days there are several similar games you can find online fully for free, so it's unlikely that we'll be seeing a resurgence for Draw Something anytime soon.
