10 Embarrassing Video Games Nobody Can Ever Catch You Playing

Before Tamagotchis and Pocket Digimons, Sega attempted to sell the Dreamcast with this weird pet simulator. Tasked with keeping your fish alive, you had to manage your on-screen aquarium by remembering to feed your fish, keep the tank clean and the temperature level correct.

Of course, a fish tank management video game is unlikely to sell too well, so Sega decided an extra novelty was required.

The player begins with a Mushroomer in their tank, a small parasitic creature which soon evolves into a Gillman – a small fish with a man's face. And it speaks to you, telling you all you want to know about these strange creatures.

As the player manages the environment and the bizarre creature within, it evolves through further stages, including Frogman – no further explanation needed.

What makes this all the more remarkable is that it is narrated by the late, great Leonard Nimoy. Here's hoping Dr. Spock's pay cheque was worth it.
