9. INXS/Marky Mark's Make My Video (Sega Mega-CD)
I must admit I hadn't heard of this before I started researching this list, but when you look at a page of console launch games, these two stick out like a sore thumb. Apparently operating as the Pokemon Red and Blue of 1991, these two Make My Video titles gave you the chance to the construct a music video for two of the 90s' most famous/infamous bands. However, 'construct' was very much a loose term all you could really do was stick inane, seemingly unrelated b*llocks (such as the world's creepiest-looking boxer) between the actual music video you start off with, which meant that all you were doing was trolling Mark Wahlberg's shirtless prancing. Of course, the game was pants at the time, but with the benefit of hindsight we can really appreciate just how dire this tat was. Naturally, we shouldn't speak ill of the dead so I'll leave the INXS frontman to one side, but seeing a now-Oscar nominated actor in Wahlberg stick his name on any old tat and act in a fashion that was embarrassing but not yet dated enough to be endearingly retro is something to behold. Of course, if you really loved Marky Mark & The Funky Bunch, then you probably enjoyed this non-ironically. However, the rest of us were pointing and sniggering.
