Epic is one of the first words that jumps to mind when describing the God Of War series, and this brand new instalment looks as if it will be no different. The series features a very angry chap called Kratos, and in the past has had us follow him around whilst he stabs, beats, pulverises and completely obliterates whatever grinds his gears, which for the most part is just generally anything that moves.

There's fast, stylish action combat to be had in gorgeous locales, with the new game taking us this time to the world of Norse Mythology.

Whilst he’s still generally quite stressed out, Kratos is going to need to keep it in a little more this time as he mentors his son, whilst protecting him from mythological nasties. Go ahead and check out the E3 trailer from last year if you’re not quite sure what to expect. It’s more or less just about punching things really hard, but that description doesn’t quite do it justice.
