9. Shadow Of The Colossus

Not only is Shadow of the Colossus one of the most iconic Playstation games of all time, Team Ico's epic is one of the most significant milestones in the entire history of the medium.

However, while the game has never been difficult to find or play, enjoying a remastered HD rerelease on the PS3 and being available on the PS4's PS Now service, the iconic adventure title is due to receive a ground-up remake in February.

More than just a remaster, the new version of the game is attempting to build upon the greatness of the original, introducing a new control scheme to solve one of the major gripes of the 2005 release.

In the safe hands of Bluepoint Games - the studio which did an impeccable job of bringing the Uncharted series over to the PS4 in 2015 - as well as consultants at SIE Japan Studio, the devs have more than proven themselves as being reliable, and could end up producing the definitive version of the title if they tweak some of the minor problems found in the original release.
