10 Exciting RPG Video Games Coming In 2022 (And Beyond) 

Skyrim is one of the most influential, highest selling, critically acclaimed games of all time. Big shoes to fill.

Bethesda announced the follow up, The Elder Scrolls VI at E3 2018, much to the excitement of gamers across the globe. However, Bethesda Game Studios are currently hard at work on Starfield, which means The Elder Scrolls VI will likely not enter full development until late 2022 at the earliest.

Consequently, the new engine developed for Starfield and a focus on next generation hardware, the game might not see the light of day for several years yet. As such, there is almost no information on the setting, mechanics or story of the next entry in the long running fantasy RPG franchise.

This has not stopped fans speculating as to where the sixth entry will take place in the elder scrolls continent of Tamriel. Assuming that this game will transport players to a new region that has not been featured in previous games, it leaves some enticing options from the map. From the swampy lands of Black Marsh, home to the reptilian race the Argonians, to the dry plains of Elsweyr, homeland of the feline race the Khajit.

There are certainly some exciting prospects here but for now this is one to keep an eye on which should definitely be worth the wait.
