10 Fantastic Open-World Video Games Coming In 2015

5. The Legend Of Zelda

Another big title to look forward to - either for those still tempted by the Wii U's illustrious motion-controlled glory or owners of Nintendo's newest in desperate need of something meatier than say, Super Smash Bros., 2015 will see the first big shakeup to the core Zelda formula there's been since Majora's Mask. In fleshing out the vast mountainsides, rivers and gorgeous green pastures of Hyrule it's already a fan's dream, and as the remasters of Ocarina or Wind Waker proved, the world of Zelda can look downright stunning when given the appropriate few lashings of paint. Gameplay-wise there's not been much revealed aside from some fun-looking horse riding and the whipping out of a parachute to float down from atop the highest cliffs, but it's safe to say Nintendo will be putting their all into this as Zelda remains one of the core pillars of their company - as well as being a franchise big enough to take some cool risks with when it comes to Wii U-specific control methods.
