10 Flagging Video Game Franchise That Need To Change NOW

With the popularity of the recent Castlevania animated series, it seems high time for the gaming side of the series to come back into the light - metaphorically, of course, because vampires and light are generally a bad mix.

While the newest game in the series did technically come out in 2019, it's worth note that this was the Castlevania Anniversary Collection, and thus not a new addition to the franchise.

As such, the most recent new game is the 2014 Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, which - while an enjoyable game - did also receive mixed review for what some regarded as bland visuals and enemy design, as well as being noted as very similar to the God of War games released around this time.

But enough years have passed now that anyone who had bad blood about the game has likely put their fangs away and calmed down about it, and thus it seems like a perfect time to time to bring the franchise back from retirement and try and experiment with rebooted series, instead of resting on the laurels of the originals.
