10 Forgotten Playstation Classics That Would Sell Millions

7. Tenchu

How does a bunch of guys famous for their stealthy antics, awesome fighting skills and awesome activities not have their own genre-defining game yet? Yep, ninjas are awesome, but there's never really been a ninja game that's set the world on fire other than Ninja Gaiden, which has become somewhat divisive in recent years. There was also Onimusha; but that appears to have vanished without trace and ain't popping up anytime soon. Tenchu, first released on PS One, is a franchise that never really lived up to its potential. It's had a fair few sequels over the years, but the last title - a poor effort on the PSP - really didn't do ninjas justice. Now is the best time to bring back a completely retooled Tenchu with impeccable stealth systems that truly brings the experience of being a ninja to the masses. It's the best time to do it before Assassin's Creed gets their act together and releases a ninja entry in their series and a Tenchu made by Sony's first party development teams would more than likely tick all the right boxes. For maximum effect, the series needs to be extremely exciting to play; a new take on stealth action that really focuses on passing by like a shadow, using acrobatic moves, ninja techniques and a vast array of weaponry to take down targets all against a backdrop of exploring the ninja code.
