10 Future Telltale Games Series We'd Love To See

2. Sherlock Holmes

Mr. Holmes has been through various adaptations through out the years. He's been Downey Jr'd, Cumberbatched, and wasn't he basically a mouse one time? Sherlock has been no stranger to change across his extensive stint as one of the fictional world's greatest detectives, and I think a Telltale series could expand further on this.

I'm imagining a steampunk style London, similar to the world of Dishonoured but with less of that teleporting magic stuff. Naturally players would take the role of Sherlock Holmes, but this time with a more technologically advanced get up and array of clockwork gadgets and gizmos to utilise while on the case.

Detective work would be the main focus, and players could solve a different mystery in each episode, with the series climax resulting in taking on Holmes's nemesis Professor James Moriarty, or maybe the equally sinister Jack The Ripper.

Companions would include Dr. Watson as well as members of the public who would be able to fill you in with leads and information. Whereas corrupt members of the the police force would strive to thwart your sleuthing sessions and have you labelled a fraud or worse, killed.

I'm imagining a very dark and gritty art style to make London seen thick and grungy, as well as at least one slow-mo knockout sequence because it's the one standout thing from those Guy Ritchie movies.
