10 Game Over Screens That Pissed You Off The Most

3. Scarface: The World Is Yours

2006's Scarface: The World Is Yours is a video game that defied expectations for several reasons, namely being a rare adaptation of a classic movie which didn't suck, and actually having more to offer than being a mere soulless me-too GTA clone.

But there are certainly aspects of the game's tone that feel a little too juvenile and try-hard, because while colourful language would be expected in any piece of media adapted from Brian De Palma's hit film, the game plasters the words "You f***ed up" across the screen every time you're killed.

Like many of the Game Over screens on this list, it's amusing enough to begin with, but over the course of a game's entire play-time wears you down. Had it included a barrage of different insults, perhaps it wouldn't have seemed quite so trite.

But instead, this profane put-down feels like the game desperately trying to appeal to edgelord teenagers who, let's face it, probably shouldn't even be playing the thing anyway.
