10 Games That Need To Be Included On A Nintendo Game Boy Mini
8. Harvest Moon
There's nothing more fun than painstakingly toiling away on a farm from first light until sunset, as fans of the unexpectedly popular Stardew Valley will attest. But ConcernedApe's agriculture-'em-up didn't cultivate the genre; those seeds were sown almost two decades earlier by Harvest Moon.
The designers of Stardew Valley are quite forward about their love for Natsume's agronomy sim, and it's easy to understand why. It's rural life at its simplest, yet most satisfying. You start with a plot of land, a hoe, and a dream, and from then on it's down to you to make the Earth do your bidding. Obviously there'll be hitches along the way - the lost cow here and there is inevitable - but with a lot of hard work and determination, eventually you'll reap the rewards. And boy do they taste good.
