5. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Well if any game is geared up for the film treatment it is the only Star Wars game that has been introduced as canon. Yes, the game was flawed and the hype about the story was a lot of hot air (surprise surprise) but even so, this is the best slice of lightsaber action this side of Tatooine. It is just cool that you follow a Sith apprentice, but a secret one who ends up becoming good. It adds a certain amount of depth to Vader and certainly lets the force loose, which we have yet to see on film. It is such a shame that Lucas doesn't know how to handle his franchise. He is like a child who is bored of his toys until he sees someone else playing with them, then he wants to play. Only, he is still bored and can't think of a fun game. Hey Lucas, pass the torch. Live off the profits. Stop ruining our dreams! The CGI trailer for The Force Unleashed 2 was the single best piece of Star Wars action ever made for Christ's sake. We deserve a good Star Wars movie god dammit! Director wise I'd say anyone who isn't George bloody Lucas for one! Maybe Bryan Singer. As for a star, not hard to see Sam Witwer reprising the role that he played in the game. Yes, he isn't exactly A list nor has he shown us anything to write home about but what the heck, he can't be as bad as Hayden Christensen.
