10 Games That Will Win Major Awards In 2015

7. Batman: Arkham Knight

Award It Will Win: Best Action Game The wait has been agonizing (especially given Arkham City's shocking ending) but Rocksteady are finally going to unleash Arkham Knight, supposedly the final game in the Arkham series, in June next year. This swansong title will only be appearing on next-gen consoles, in order to create the best experience possible. That means more goons on screen and bigger, more detailed environments - both of which suit the series to a tee. The most obvious change to the series is the playable inclusion of the Batmobile for the first time. Having been interested in the idea for a while, Rocksteady actually adapted and widened the streets of Gotham (which were too small to accommodate the vehicle in Arkham City) to allow space for traffic. The developers were quick to point out that the Batmobile wouldn't detriment the classic Arkham formula though, insisting that moving around on-foot and gliding through the air are still key to the Batman experience. Arkham has always been about the combat though and Rocksteady have endeavored to ensure smashing criminals in the face is still as satisfying as it has ever been; the gameplay trailers are full of glorious bone-breaking moments. Arkham Knight might be Rocksteady's last Batman game but don't expect them to go out quietly - they've been working for years to make sure this is the most action-packed game to ever bear the Arkham title.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
