9. Sly Cooper
Sly Cooper is a relic of the mostly forgotten era of platforming games centered around some sort of mascot character. He still has many fans who miss these kinds of games, something that can really only be found from indie studios and Nintendo in the modern era of gaming.
There hasn't been a new installment of the Sly Cooper series since 2013, and as we move into both a new decade and a new console generation, this is the perfect time to bring it back. There was going to be a Sly Cooper movie, something that gave fans hope could potentially be a tie-in game similar to the one Ratchet and Clank received. However, development on the movie stalled.
Sony has been benefiting from the goodwill they garnered years ago by setting themselves apart from Microsoft. This won't be enough going into the next generation, as it seems both consoles will be incredibly similar.
The way the manufacturers will differentiate themselves this time is with exclusive titles. An excellent way for Sony to do this would be to bring back this recognizable mascot, attracting both his existing fans and new fans that miss the platformer era of gaming.
