Cult classic platform-adventure game Shadow Complex sees protagonist Jason Fleming entering the titular mysterious underground structure in an attempt to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend Claire.

But early on in the game, players are able to ditch the heroism completely by retreating as far-left along the game map as possible, eventually landing them back at the jeep they arrived in.

Getting in the jeep will trigger an ending where Jason drives off while hilariously quipping in reference to Claire, "Plenty of fish in the sea."

Given that the end of the game reveals that Claire was actually working for the NSA the entire time and effectively using Jason to infiltrate the base, perhaps it wasn't such a bad call.
