3. Get The Dog Ending - Silent Hill 2

Like the vast majority of the Silent Hill games, the masterful Silent Hill 2 features several "troll" endings that are basically offputting jokes intended to toy with dedicated players.

One such ending is the infamous "dog" ending, where the player will discover that a headphones-wearing dog was behind all of the game's events, manipulating them from a control room.

Protagonist James expresses exasperation in Japanese, the dog starts licking his face and the game ends, accompanied by special doggie-centric credits complete with a song comprised mostly of dog barks. Yup.

Now granted, this ending does require the player to have beaten the game at least once before - and depending on which ending they got, up to three times.

But as a means to an end, it allows players to seek out the dog ending and find a path through the game in as little as 40 minutes if they're really dedicated.

Meeting these conditions will allow the player to find a special dog key in the doghouse, which can then be used to open the Observation Room on 3F of the nightmare version of the Lakeview Hotel and meet that adorably sinister canine.
