10 Great Games with TERRIBLE DLC

6. Asura's Wrath

Resident Evil Village DLC
Capcom

With a Capcom entry appearing on our list for the third time, it seems like the company isn't cut out for DLC. The very same year Capcom dealt with the Street Fighter X Tekken snafu, they found themselves embroiled with another game they published, Asura's Wrath.

The over-the-top action title stood out, due to its anime art-style, godlike battles, and the way it creatively mixed Hindu and Buddhist mythology with sci-fi themes. It also utilised quick-time events in a way that smoothly integrated into the story.

But for all is strengths, Asura's Wrath is infamous for its ending, or lack there of. The main campaign ends on a huge cliffhanger, with the last three episodes only available on the DLC. Basically, you have to pay to play the game, then pay again to complete it. Unless you're willing to splash out more cash, you'll never experience the last few levels, the final boss, or the true ending.

Considering the payable chapter was released shortly after the game launched, it seems like the studio's intended to sell it separately early on, exasperating the controversy further.
