10 Great Video Games That Are Way Too Short

5. Pokemon Snap - 2 Hours

Nemesis Resident Evil 3
Nintendo

Pokemon Snap follows young photographer, Todd Snap, who heads to an enclosed island to take pictures of Pokemon in their natural habitat. Todd is rewarded with points by taking quality photos, encouraging players to interact with the wildlife in specific ways, so they'll perform photogenic poses. Todd can entice Pokemon to perform actions that unlocks new areas, allowing him to discover all sorts of hidden creatures

Because Pokemon launched as an RPG, it seemed odd for HAL Laboratory to devise a photography-based spin-off, devoid of battles. Despite sounding like a somewhat unusual title, Pokemon Snap became immensely popular, to the point where fans were begging for a sequel (which became a reality 20 years later).

Sadly, fans can't deny Pokemon Snap is shockingly abrupt. With only 55 critters to snap and 11 areas to explore, even casual gamers will be over and done with this adorable rail shooter in two hours tops.

Players can continue to take pictures to improve their overall score, but there's little impetus to carry on, since there are no rewards or bonuses once the main campaign has been completed.
