Fire-based Ifrit and long-time rival, ice-based Shiva, have undeniably become 2 of the most recognised symbols and characters of the Final Fantasy series.
Whilst resembling a hellish demon in FFIII, Ifrit has regressively transformed from humanoid to increasingly bestial, until FFXV where he made an ironic return to a more human form, despite being the Astral god that most despised humans and had sought their destruction.
