2. Beldingford Manor - Hitman: Contracts
Voted by the fans as the greatest level in the entire series on IO Interactive's poll a few years back, Beldingford Manor is a fantastic environment rife with secret passages, open areas to access and an appropriately unnerving soundtrack to accompany 47's shenanigans in a British stately home.
Once again embracing the darker, creepier tone of Contracts, the eccentric Lord Beldingford and his son have captured the client's son to use him as live game in a gruelling hunt. The son will need rescuing, but mercifully the poor soul will zip out of your way once he's freed, thus liberating players from being forced to babysit a VIP through the countless amounts of guards and attack dogs.
The mansion grounds are patrolled by a lot of shotgun-wielding Brits who are itching to shoot intruders on sight. Plenty of bodyguards and the occasional hunting party guest can be found inside Beldingford's home as well, but numerous secret tunnels and passageways disguised as bookcases will allow sneaky players invaluable shortcuts.
While the Lord enjoys a spot of milk before bed, he's prone to quick trips to the toilet, as well as laying carelessly beside an unlikely weapon. Young Allistar Beldingford loves whiskey, and frequently sends the butler off to get him another flask as he enjoys chatting in front of the fire.
