10 Greatest Ever Levels In Hitman Video Games
1. Curtains Down - Hitman: Blood Money
The French opera house is an expansive sandbox that gets better each and every time you replay it. Opera singer Alvado D'Alvade and American senator Richard Delahunt have been trafficking children together, and have rightly earned a place on the hit list. While D'Alvade is busy with rehearsing his latest role, Delahunt is watching every single performance in his heavily-guarded box. And with a tour taking place, anyone might end up catching you in the act.
There are so many items and events to use to your advantage in this level, be it a chandelier ready to be dropped or an execution scene than can be botched by replacing the prop gun with a real firearm.
Curtains Down retains itself as the greatest level in the entire Hitman series, and with good reason. It's big, almost maze-like, and has so many passages, floors, platforms, and tunnels to navigate through. Many enemies and civilians roaming the halls make for very handy disguises if used correctly, too.
There's a wide number of ways to kill silently and professionally, with the botched execution scene being one of the most iconic ways to assassinate. The music choice in this level is fantastic, and so is the live opera performance. There's even an Easter egg called the 'Rat Club', where rats are drinking wine, eating pizza and smacking each other with over-sized boxing gloves. As you do.
Prepare for a tricky but ultimately fantastic time in the best mission ever to come out of IO Interactive's iconic stealth-action series.
