3. Liquid Snake (Metal Gear Solid)

This being a Metal Gear game and all, it was perfectly natural to assume that the game's end would pit you face to face with some version of the famous Metal Gear machine itself. While the game certainly does not disappoint on that front by allowing you to go many-y-mech with the titular titanium monstrosity, the most compelling part of this battle is the man piloting the machine itself.

Throughout Metal Gear Solid, your genetically spliced sibling Liquid Snake has been tormenting you so mercilessly that there is no way taking him down while he pilots Metal Gear could ever satisfy your bloodlust. Perhaps realizing this, Hideo Kojima inserted a second part to this boss fight that allows you to engage Liquid in an incredible fist fight atop the ruins of Metal Gear.

Even if you manage to win this fight the fun is not over yet, as Liquid will then again pursue you in a vehicle chase as you both attempt to flee the exploding facility.
