10 Greatest Pokémon From Generation III

5. Milotic

350 Water Feebas - MILOTIC Feebas becomes Milotic when it's Beauty condition is high enough after being levelled up (Milotic can also be evolved via trade whilst holding the item Prism Scale - Generation V only) Effect: MARVEL SCALE raises the Defense stat by 50% if the Pokémon with this Ability is suffering from a status ailment Milotic is definitely one of the most unusual Pokémon from Generation III because it introduces us to a new method of evolution - through an increase in Beauty. I actually once had a Level 56 Feebas that hadn't yet evolved because I didn't know how to make it evolve - awkwardly it was my highest ranked Pokémon at the time. Complicated evolution aside this Pokémon is seriously worth acquiring because it's super strong. Milotic is one of the most durable Pokémon ever because of it's super high HP and Special Defence stats - these stats are then backed up by the moves Recover and Refresh which heal health and cure status problems respectively. With those moves and stats it becomes very difficult to get rid of a Milotic once it's in full flow. If you like these traits and fancy training yourself a Feebas and ,later on, a Milotic then all you need to do is head over to Route 119 and fish until one pops out of the water! As you can imagine, Milotic is strong against most Rock, Ground and Fire types but it can also be strong against Grass and Dragon types if taught Ice Beam or Blizzard using Technical Machines. Milotic's also really useful for exploring, it can learn a diverse range of Water type based HM's which make it easier to explore the harder to reach places of Hoenn. Overall, Milotic is pretty cool looking - apparently the most beautiful Pokémon ever if the Pokédex is to be believed, strong as an ox and immensely useful and it therefore deserves a place at number 5.
